Good gracious! I am long overdue for a website update!! The last I wrote here was that we were putting an offer a house in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. Well, we didn't get that house (we were expecting that) but ended up purchasing a beautiful house in Huntly, Aberdeenshire (pictured above)! We moved into it in December, and have been unpacking and setting up house ever since. We're over the moon with what God has provided for us. There's space, and quiet, and a beautiful garden. It's a lovely place to have a retreat and just sit in God's presence.
We've also had our first guests! House guests rather than retreat guests, but we loved having them all the same. Friends from Edinburgh came and spent a few days with us and together we visited all sorts of special places that future guests will want to see. It was such a blessing to have them in our home.
We anticipate another set of guests in mid-April. And though, again, they are probably more accurately styled 'house guests' rather than retreat guests, Daniel and I are beginning to see that God seems to be growing things very organically. We hope that anyone who visits us experiences His peace and His presence, and if we have an opportunity to minister in His name, even better.
